Microblading
Step by Step
What to expect before your microblading procedure:
Prepare for your Visit
Prior to your procedure avoid fish oil supplements, vitamin E, ibuprofen, and any other possible blood thinner since they can lead to excessive bleeding, bruising, or scarring.
Virtually Pain-Free
Please arrive on time to your appointment. The technician will apply a numbing cream on your brows for 15-20 minutes to minimize any pain (reapplying as necessary during the procedure).
Shaped to Perfection
Before microblading, the technician will measure your brows to determine the best size, width, and depth that suits your face. You will be able to see the stencils applied and approve the shape prior to beginning.
The Procedure Begins
When the procedure begins you’ll likely feel pressure or a scratching sensation from the microblading tool. If you experience any discomfort notify the technician and more numbing cream can be applied.

The Process
Microblading Aftercare
Day by Day
What to expect after your microblading procedure:
Day 1
Your eyebrows will be sensitive and swollen. They will also appear "too dark". A few hours after treatment, blot the lymphatic fluid (clear fluid) off them with a cotton pad with a drop of sterile (salt-free) water. Repeat this 2-3 times.
Days 2-4
Keep your brows dry and avoid getting them wet. Be very gentle and make sure your hands are clean when touching your brows. Use Aquaphor® Ointment 2-4 times a day. Avoid hot places such as saunas, beaches, steamy showers, and sweating excessively.
Days 5-10
The scabbing stage begins. Let the scabs fall off naturally (do not pick at them). If you touch them, you risk ruining your microblading. Carry on with the aftercare routine - keeping the brows dry and moisturized with Aquaphor® only. If you notice anything suspicious, such as heavy scabbing or irritation, contact your artist.
Days 10-14
You don't need to apply ointment any longer. On the 14th day you can go back to your everyday routine. You can wash your face normally.
